The Realme GT3 smartphone with 240W charging is set to be announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on February 28. However, the company released a teaser video yesterday showing how 240W charging can power the device’s 4600mAh battery from 0-100% in a mere 9 minutes, 37 seconds.
For those who just need a quick charge, simply plugging in the device for 80-seconds will net you 20% of battery life, which is plenty for a quick phone call or sending text messages. Other features include a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, a dual rear camera array (50MP Wide + 8MP Ultra-Wide), and a 16MP selfie camera. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability. Unfortunately, the Tesla Wireless Charging Platform will not be able to make use of the Realme GT3’s 240W charging.
