When you need an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) that can go anywhere with full amphibious capabilities, look no further than the Rheinmetall Mission Master XT. This 4,887 lb (2,217 kg) extreme terrain UGV thrives in sub-zero temperatures and can float or swim while maintaining its full payload capacity.
It can easily transport a 2,204 lb (1,000 kg) payload, thus enabling troops to carry special equipment to hard-to-reach locations. The diesel-powered engine allows it to travel 466 mi (750 km) without needing to refuel, while its internal batteries are good for up to 6 hours of silent watch operations. That’s not all, its high-performance continuous tire inflation system automatically adjusts the tire pressure depending on the terrain. AI-powered navigation, combined with advanced sensors and perception algorithms, allows the Mission Master XT to traverse autonomously through challenging environments.

We are proud to have developed systems that can withstand some of the world’s harshest conditions. These recent trials have proven that we are in a strong position to meet the needs of Nordic countries that face similar challenges to us here in Canada,” said Alain Tremblay, VP of Business Development and Innovation at Rheinmetall Canada.
