RizzGPT Monocle AI Conversation Augmented Reality
You’ve seen Spot with ChatGPT, now check out RizzGPT, a high-tech monocle developed by Stanford University CS student Bryan Chiang. This AI-powered device uses Brilliant Labs’ monocle, which is open-source and has firmware that can easily be modified, along with a small heads up display that projects words directly in front of the user’s eye.

How does it work? RizzGPT basically utilizes OpenAI’s GPT-3 model to analyze your lines, provide feedback, and suggest better options, all in real-time. Plus, it also enables users to send the better options generated by the AI to your acquaintance’s phone number using Twilio’s messaging API. Github page here.

We built RizzGPT using a combination of modern web development tools and APIs. The frontend was built using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. We used Bootstrap to style the website and make it responsive to different screen sizes. For the backend, we used Node.js and Express to build the server-side API that handles user requests and communicates with the OpenAI and Twilio APIs,” said the team.
