Robotic Parking Spot NYC New York
H/t: Car Scoops
You won’t need ZF EasyTurn technology to park in this luxury robotic parking spot in NYC, just $300,000 USD. Believe it or not, that is the low-end for one of these spots, as they run all the way up to $595,000+ at 121 East 22nd Street near NYC’s Gramercy Park where a 140-unit condo building developed by Toll Brothers boasts 24 automated parking spaces.

Lori Alf, a resident of Florida, picked up one of these condo units for $9.15-million earlier this month and then paid another $300,000 for the robotic parking spot. How does it work? You simply pull up to a kiosk where a frequency ID tag can be used to unlock the robotic parking spot below before a pallet appears for you to drive onto. Cameras then scan to make sure the trunk and doors are all closed before descending into the basement.

As crazy as it may sound, $300,000 for a residential parking spot is considered a reasonable price in New York City. The overall lack of parking in the city, an ongoing problem with no end in sight, will only escalate such pricing,” said Senada Adzem, a Florida-based real estate broker at Douglas Elliman to CNBC.
