There are roller coaster enthusiasts all over the world, but rarely do you hear a story like this one. Samuel Kempf, who lives in New Zealand, visited PortAventura World theme park in Catalonia, Spain and showed off his lightning-quick reflexes by accident when he caught a stranger’s mobile phone while riding a coaster. It just so happened that the on-ride camera captured the exact moment Kempf caught the phone while riding the 80-mph coaster.
PortAventura World was built around the PortAventura Park theme park and is the most visited theme park in Spain as well as the sixth most visited theme park in Europe. There’s also a second theme park, Ferrari Land, a PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, five hotels, a convention center and even an RV park all in the same area. Yes, Ferrari Land is officially licensed and includes a 250-room hotel with restaurants, shops, along with various racing simulators.
