Flexible keyboards are nothing new, but Royole’s latest creation, the RoType, features a transparent design that can be rolled up. At just 0.04mm thick, the surface is covered in a special film with integrated circuits, and it can stretch as well as curl up without deformation. To type, simply touch the surface like you would on any other keyboard.
Nearly all of RoType’s critical hardware can be found within its metallic case. The case, besides housing the flexible keyboard when rolled up, houses all the important electronics, and connects wirelessly to any device, thus enabling users to type with ease. The RoType’s design packs a full-length keyboard, complete with function keys on the top.
