OnLeaks and MediaPeanut provides us with a first look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 folding smartphone, based on leaked CAD files. The first thing you’ll notice is the larger cover display, which extends from almost directly under the rear camera to the hinge area.
This new cover display is rumored to be 3.4-inches, while the main inner display should be a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 4. As for cameras, it’s expected to have two larger 12MP sensors capable of capturing more light for improved photos. Power should become a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. No definitive release date has been set, although rumors point towards are July 25-27 launch, priced from $999 USD.
