We may never see a Game Boy with a built-in projector, but Samsung The Premiere 8K offers wireless connectivity for those looking to bring the cinema experience home. The company announced that this projector has officially received the industry’s first 8K Association (8KA) certification for 8K projectors.
What is 8KA certification? It basically evaluates a comprehensive set of standards critical to delivering an immersive viewing experience. These standards include resolution (7680 x 4320), brightness, contrast and color gamut to ensure vivid detail in both highlights as well as shadows. Certification also encompasses high dynamic range (HDR) for enhanced visual depth, 8K upscaling to refine lower-resolution content and immersive audio capabilities. The Premiere 8K boasts 4,500 ISO Lumens of brightness and Sound-on-Screen technology, which integrates the top speaker module and software algorithms for an immersive sound experience.
