Shl0ms Blow Up Lamborghini Huracan NFT
One artist who goes by “Shl0ms” online blew up a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan and plans to turn the fragments into 999 non-fungible tokens, or better known as NFTs, to auction off. The explosion is completely real, and the fragments being auctioned off as well, but what buyers are getting are digital versions. That’s right, each one of the 999 fragments were receovered and then filmed in 4K to create a rotating video before being minted as an NFT.

So far, 111 of these fragments have been gifted to people who helped make this project a reality, while the other 888 are set to drop on February 25, 2022 for 24-hours only. Bidding will start at 0.01 Ether, or the equivalent of approximately $26 USD in Ethereum cryptocurrency. Winners will have to pay a hefty premium for the three largest chunks, and they are set to be kept in secure storage for the forseeable future.
