Nobody really knows what the Formula 1 racing series will really be like in a decade, but Renault would like to take a stab at it, with their latest concept, the RS2027 Vision. This sleek 1,322-pound race car is draws power from a turbocharged V6 engine, paired with a two-part kinetic energy recovery system (produces 670-horsepower alone), which generates a combined total power output of to 1,341-horsepower. “Elsewhere, Renault has outfitted the RS 2027 Vision with autonomous driving modes which can be used during safety car periods to keep the car at a set speed. Additionally, the vehicle uses car-to-car communication that enables racers to track their rivals and more incredibly, could allow gamers to participate virtually in real-time F1 races,” reports Car Scoops.
