Sonic Rumble is a new 32-player battle royale game set to his iOS / Android mobile devices on December 20, 2024. Similar to Mediatonic’s Fall Guys, this game has players racing against each other to collect the most rings and prove themselves to be the fastest in the toybox.
Featuring several iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe that can be fully customized, complete with their own unique avatars before diving into the action-packed gameplay. The game will be free-to-play with options for in-app purchases (coins, power-ups, etc.). Sonic Rumble marks the first title to be released jointly by SEGA and Rovio.

In addition to Sonic Rumble, fans can look forward to Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Paramount Pictures’ feature film set to release on December 20, 2024, as well as the franchise’s newest game for console SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS,” said SEGA in a press release.
