Space Campers unveils ‘The Cap’ for the Tesla Cybertruck, which essentially transforms it into a mini home on wheels. However, don’t expect all of the luxuries you’d find in a camper van, as this accessory only adds 40 inches (101 cm) from the bed floor.
Weighing 170-pounds, The Cap has enough room for the essentials like a mattress, wall-mounted storage, LED lights, a projector, and even an optional shower kit should you be planning a cross-country (or world) road trip. As for the roof, it can support up to 270-pounds when driving, or 650-pounds while parked. How Much? Around $6,385 USD without any of the options, and shipments begin in June 2025.

If you’ve been following our journey, you’ll notice this is a streamlined version of our wedge-style camper. As a startup, we’ve faced funding challenges and pivoted our strategy to bring The Cap to market first. This update has been a long time coming, and we appreciate your patience. While our truck cap is a simpler design compared to The Wedge, it offers a more approachable price while remaining highly functional, with a range of accessories to enhance the utility of your Cybertruck,” said the company.
