Ralph Gilles, Stellantis Head of Design, recently took delivery of ‘Hellucination’ from SpeedKore Perfomance. Simply put, it started out as a 1968 Dodge Charger and then completely revamped into a 1,000hp muscle car, including an all-carbon body. That’s right, the hood, doors, body panels, and even floor pans were handcrafted from carbon fiber on this 3,600-pound vehicle.
It’s powered by a supercharged 7.0L V8 Hellephant crate engine from Dodge that makes 1,000 hp, paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Other features include bespoke HRE “Hellucination” wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, Brembo six-piston brakes up front and dual four-piston calipers in the back, as well as a custom SpeedKore exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. Inside, you’ll find Gabe’s Custom Interior seats, a Race Quip four-point harness, gauges from Classic Instruments, and RestoMod Air / SpeedKore Custom controls. If ‘Hellucinatino’ sounds crazy, then you can’t forget SpeedKore’s 1525hp twin-turbo Dodge Charger either.
