You won’t need an external GPU for the Steam Deck to take FPS games to the next level, just this innovative Steam Gun accessory. It consists of a Steam Deck clip, two KJ-sticks, and a multi-function mount. Even though the Steam Gun can be used to aim, players still need to use the standard joystick to move around.
Once the accessory is fully assembled, the only things left to do are attach the Steam Deck to the clip, and then calibrate the gyro. Currently, only the ‘Maker Version’ is available, which means the company sends you the STL file to 3D print most of the parts and require you to purchase the appropriate lithium-ion battery before assembling everything. This DIY version costs $89 and the fully assembled Steam Gun is expected to retail at $229 USD before shipping.
