Sbarro Eight

Here’s another look at the Sbarro Eight concept designed by students ESPERA Sbarro Montbeliard. Think of it has a futuristic hot rod, or rat rod, that’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.2L Masserati-sourced V8 engine that produces 368-horsepower. Its customized exhausts are mounted on the side, and directly connected to the turbos for a mean growl. On the outside, you’ll find sleek OZ Racing Ultraleggera wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports tires in a staggered layout (wider in front). The interior boasts plenty of wood and leather accents, custom-built fiberglass seats as well as a Parrot Asteroid Smart car radio with a 6.2-inch screen. “If a ’32 Ford 3-Window Coupe mated with a Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk, this would be their offspring. In creating the EIGHT, the students took a break from convention, trading the curvy metal body of traditional hot rods for a very facetted and jagged design,” according to Speed Hunters.
