Super Mario 64 Rerendered is yet another fan remake, but this one adds new textures, a revamped lighting system, remixed theme music, and lots more. One gripe that players had was of the camera’s occasional erratic movements and lack of optimal angle, so we can only hope this remake fixes it.
Fans of the series may already be familiar with the 2004 enhanced remake, Super Mario 64 DS, that was released for the Nintendo DS in 2004. Unlike the original, this installment featured Yoshi as the starting character, with Mario, Luigi, and Wario as unlockable characters. There’s no word yet on when or if Super Mario 64 Rerendered will be released to the public.
