LG V50 ThinQ

LG Electronics is set to unveil its first 5G smartphone at the upcoming Mobile World Congress on the 24th of February at Center de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB). The V50 ThinQ is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855, which 45 percent faster than the previous generation, sport a 4,000 mAh battery, and also boast a vapor chamber to better protect it against heat compared to heat pipes. LG Foldable Phone Smartphone

LG Electronics recently filed a patent for an ‘electronic device’ that describes a foldable mobile phone with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) and USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), and it was published on December 27, 2018. Simply put, when this smartphone is folded, the flexible display is on the outside and extends to the entire rear via the right-hand edges. In the middle, there’s a spring-loaded hinge that can keeps the device open when the display is fully opened. There’s no official word yet on pricing or availability, but we may catch a glimpse of it at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona next month. LG Rollable OLED TV

LG first unveiled a prototype rollable TV at CES 2018, and now this year, they introduced a 65″ OLED TV R that will actually go on sale some time this year. It consists of a large base stand that houses a 100-watt Dolby Atmos speaker system and the actual window blind-like 65″ OLED panel that can roll up and down. The display has three modes: a full-screen “Full View” experience, a partially rolled out “Line View” mode, and then “Zero View”, in which the user only makes use of the audio system. LG 8K Resolution OLED CES
LG has announced their next-generation TV lineup powered by the company’s second-gen Alpha 9 processor paired with ThinQ AI, complete with Alexa and Google Assistant support, ahead of CES 2019. The largest of the models will be the Z9, an 88-inch 8K resolution OLED television that uses the second-generation Alpha 9 processor and its deep learning algorithm for supreme picture and sound quality, as well as optimized content that automatically recognizes ambient conditions. LG Cloi Suitbot

LG Electronics’ CLOi SuitBot is touted as the first “human-centric” wearable robot, but it doesn’t navigate airport lounges and hotel hallways by itself. What it does is support and enhance a user’s legs to allow for more mobility as well as lower limb strength, complete with naturally rotating joints that allow the CLOi SuitBot to move in a more relaxed and natural way to enhance the lower body while walking, standing or working. LG CineBeam 4K HU85L Laser Projector
LG will officially unveil its second-generation CineBeam Laser 4K projector (HU85L) with Ultra Short Throw (UST) technology at CES 2019, and it builds upon its predecessor as it now can be placed a little more than 2 inches from the wall to project a 90-inch diagonal image. When placed 7 inches away, the projector produces a much larger and still bright 120-inch image. The projector delivers 2,500 ANSI lumens and 4K UHD resolution, while reproducing highly accurate colors courtesy of its wide color gamut, which further increases the realism of every picture displayed. LG 16-Lens Camera Phone

LG recently filed a patent that shows the company may be working on a smartphone with 16-lens camera module, so if the five-camera system found on its flagship LG V40 ThinQ isn’t enough, this should do the trick. Apparently, the lenses, arranged in a 4 x 4 matrix layout, are intended to capture multiple perspectives in a single shot, enabling you to move the 3D-like pictures around afterwards. LG V40 ThinQ Review

To keep things speedy, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and a stunning 6.4-inch OLED display. You’ll be able to pick up this device for $899.99 from AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon outlets in the United States on October 18th.
