Believe it or not, a mother reportedly waited hours after her son had been shot by a friend before taking him to a hospital, instead, resorting to Google and WebMD for advice on how to treat gunshot wounds. According to police, the 14-year-old was shot in the leg around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday by a friend who lived in the Santa Fe home. The shooting was caught on tape by a surveillance camera inside the home, and according to The Houston Chronicle, the teen’s mother looked up gunshots on Web MD before deciding to take the boy to the hospital about seven hours later. Fortunately, the boy is in stable condition at the hospital.
