Tesla Bot Update Walking Picking Up Objects
Tesla Bot, also known as Optimus, can now do much more than just walk untethered, as the latest prototypes show it picking up objects and and not smashing an egg. Built-in cameras and sensors enable Tesla Bot to explore as well as memorize environments, while manipulating random objects will still require a bit more training.

Currently, it stands 5ft, 8in and weighs in at 125-pounds, all controlled by the same AI program that Tesla is developing for their advanced driver-assistance system found in its cars. It can safely lift objects up to 45-pounds and the ultimate goal is for Tesla Bot to handle dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks like providing manufacturing assistance in factories. There’s no word yet on when or if this robot is going to be offered for sale to the public.
