The Matrix Four New Movie
It’s official, we’re getting a new “The Matrix” movie. This fourth installment in the franchise will see stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity. Lana Wachowski, co-creator of the original trilogy, will co-write, direct and produce the film, while being joined by writers Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell, as well as producer Grant Hill. No other plot details have been revealed, but you can most certainly expect this to be a sequel to “The Matrix Revolutions” released in 2003 when Neo was trapped in a limbo world, while the majority of the planet’s population remained in a state of suspended virtual reality.

“We could not be more excited to be re-entering The Matrix with Lana. Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in The Matrix universe,” said Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich.
