Overland Expedition Vehicle

Priced from $565k, the Earth Roamer XV-LTS, built on a Ford F550 chassis, comes fitted with jsut about every luxury accoutrement you would ever want on an off-the-grid overland trip. It’s powered by a Ford 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel good for 330 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque, mated to a TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission. Just in case you get stuck in the middle of nowhere, its supplementary 50-gal diesel tank ups the total fuel capacity to 90 gallons, which means nearly 1,000 miles of potential range per fill-up. Plus, it also comes equipped with 1,200 watts worth of solar panels that store energy in a 12 kWh AGM battery bank. That bank also receives power from the truck’s alternators during driving and as a backup at camp and the 30A shore power hookup, while the 3,000W inverter supplies electricity to AC appliances like the air conditioner, microwave and induction stove.
