Giant Cube Home

Atelier 8000 has built a giant cube, called Kezmarske Hut, that provides sustainable, year-round, off-the-grid shelter for adventurers. The exterior is constructed from aluminum, glass and features photovoltaic panels for power. There’s also a patio that wraps around two of the structure’s faces, perfect for lounging when the weather permits. The reflective metal plating makes it easy to spot from miles away. Inside, you’ll find glue-laminated timber and red spruce beams as well as plenty of cozy furnishings. Click here to view the first image in this week’s geek life gallery.
