Unlike this Norwegian prison, Het Arresthuis is a real luxury hotel. There’s one catch, it first opened in 1862 as a prison, but closed down for good in 2007. Now, it’s been transformed into a luxurious hotel, one where guests actually pay big money to spend at least a night in one of the old holding cells.
