Set for a theatrical release on July 26, 2021, the upcoming Uncharted film, directed by Ruben Fleischer, will serve as an origin story for protagonist Nathan Drake from the video games of the same name created by Amy Hennig. It stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as his future mentor Victor Sullivan along with a supporting cast that includes Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali and Tati Gabrielle. Principal photography started March 16, 2020 and was mainly shot in areas around Berlin, with production expected to take place at Babelsberg Studio, before moving to Spain. However, filming was shut down in mid-March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On September 16, filming officially moved to Berlin, with set photos being released online and Tom Holland revealed that filming will wrap on October 23rd.
