Marcel Vos wanted to create the world’s longest RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 roller coaster and managed to do just that in spectacular fashion. Called the Universe Coaster, an ultra long roller coaster without any major hills or drops had to be built, and when it reaches the end, the trains reverse, but even slower than the forward journey.
Now just this basic ride takes 2-years to complete and extending it to be even longer is simpler than you may think. More specifically, 253 smaller rides were created and then synced to the main roller coaster. This means that once the main journey is complete, one of the smaller rides then takes over and the process begins all over again. For those wondering, it would take 30²78 (3 quinvigintillion) years to finish.
