Data East was set to release the Lemmings arcade cabinet in 1991, but was cancelled before the prototype made it to production. It would have been based on the Psygnosis game of the same name and utilize trackball controls.
Classic gaming fans ‘RMC – The Cave’ wanted to build this unreleased arcade cabinet, but first, they needed to find a suitable donor machine. So, they settled upon a Data East Night Slashers cabinet from 1993. Next, they 3D-printed a control panel, installed the two trackballs, and then a 19″ CRT monitor.
