USSV Hamba Fast and Furious US Specialty Vehicles F-150
A Ford F-150 is a familiar sight—rugged, dependable, a workhorse for the everyman. But every so often, someone takes that foundation and uses it to build something crazy. Meet the USSV Hamba, a one-of-a-kind paramilitary off-roader built by US Specialty Vehicles, the same crew that built cars for the Fast & Furious franchise.

Start with the Ford F-150 chassis, the kind you’d see hauling lumber or cruising suburban streets. US Specialty Vehicles stripped the vehicle down and rebuilt it into something entirely different. The Hamba is a two-door, compact compared to the sprawling crew cabs of today, but don’t let its size fool you. Custom body panels with geometric lines and huge window surrounds add to its allure. What about the taillamps? They look like something scavenged from a science fiction prop shop. Despite its smaller footprint, the Hamba weighs more than a conventional F-150.

Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8 from a Ford Mustang, good for 420 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Its 10-speed automatic transmission, when paired with the exhaust system, custom built for the Hamba, makes Hamba sound as menacing as it looks. With only 663 miles on the odometer, this thing has barely been broken in.

Inside, the Hamba’s dashboard and layout are undeniably F-150, but US Specialty Vehicles didn’t stop there. The seats are cherry red leather boasting quilted stitching. The door panels are black leather with red accents, and the headliner is Alcantara. Infotainment is handled by an aftermarket Alpine headunit, and the steering wheel has been retrimmed for a more personal touch.

Built as a prototype by Superstretch USA, a division of USSV, it was a test bed for more paramilitary style trucks to come. A six figure investment went into its build with a custom lift, beadlock wheels and 35” tires. Full LED lighting illuminates the path ahead, while a custom nerf bar adds both style and function. Sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction in 2022, it later surfaced at Jacobs Mitsubishi in Florida, listed for $79,000 on eBay without finding a buyer. Now, it waits for someone who appreciates its rarity.
