Art fans know that Vincent van Gogh’s swirling brushstrokes have long captivated visitors at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Now, a new partnership with Samsung Electronics turns 1,600 Galaxy S25+ smartphones into high-tech audio guides that bring Van Gogh’s art to life.

This three-year collaboration opted for the Galaxy S25+ handset for its 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X display. “Our goal is to connect art and technology in a way that inspires and enriches,” said a Samsung representative.

Emilie Gordenker, Van Gogh Museum director stated: “This partnership allows us to present Van Gogh’s legacy in a way that’s both innovative and deeply respectful of his vision. The Galaxy S25+ enhances how our visitors connect with his art.”

What elevates this setup is the promise of Galaxy AI integration, set to roll out in future updates. Samsung and the museum are developing personalized features that could tailor the audio tour to individual preferences. “We’re excited to explore how Galaxy AI can make art more accessible and engaging,” Samsung noted.
Beyond the tech, Samsung is adding a collectible twist to the partnership. Special-edition Galaxy smartphone cases, inspired by Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Self-Portrait, will soon hit shelves at Samsung Experience Stores, the Samsung Online Store in the Netherlands, and the museum’s retail locations.
