When not in use, the panel lowers back into the cabinet, while the middle drawer also flips 90-degrees to ensure a seamless transition. Most who have used laser projectors know that they can get quite hot, and that is where the built-in cooling fan comes in. It automatically turns on when the electric tray extends.
