Der Ziesel is an electric tank wheelchair hybrid that can tackle just about any terrain. There are two permanent magnet synchronous motors pumping 21 horsepower and 30 lb-ft of torque to the tracks, enabling the 460-pound machine to hit speeds of up to 22 miles-per-hour. When the integrated battery pack is fully charged, you can get 4-5 hours of drive time, controlling everything with the joystick located on the armrest of the vehicle. As mentinoed above, acceleration, braking, reversing, and steering are controlled via joystick, and there are also three settings to tweak the power output on the fly to suit the surroundings. Want something a bit more luxurious? You can opt for the model with sculpted wood armrests, brushed metal mud guards and metallic paint.
