Woman Chew Security Cable Steal iPhone
A woman was caught on surveillance footage chewing through a security cable to steal an iPhone 14 Plus in Fujian, a province in southeastern China. She leaned on the smartphone display before attempting to thwart the alarm system by chewing on the security cable until it broke.

To not arouse suspicion, the woman pretended to be scrolling through the iPhone 14 Pro’s screen like a customer normally would when testing the device. The security camera footage was enough for police to track down the woman and arrest her at home. There’s no word yet on the charges, but if someone is caught stealing in China, the person may be sentenced to public surveillance as the least serious penalty or life imprisonment, depending on the seriousness of the crime.
