Worlds Longest Car Guinness World Records
Measuring 100 ft and 1.50 in,”The American Dream” is officially the world’s longest car yet again, rolling on 26 wheels and powered by a pair of V8 engines at the front / rear. It’s 1976 based on the Cadillac Eldorado limousine, can be driven from both ends and was actually built in two sections, joined in the middle by a hinge for making it around tight corners. Some of its luxurious amenities include a large waterbed, swimming pool, jacuzzi, bathtub, putting green, and even a helipad.

Does “The American Dream” look familiar? If so, that is because it first set the Guinness World Record for longest car back in 1986 before being abandoned at the back of a New Jersey warehouse for many years. It wasn’t until Michael Dezer, owner of the Dezerland Park Car Museum and Tourist Attractions, saw it on eBay in 2019 did he decide to restore the vehicle. In all, Dezer spent over $250,000 USD over 3-years to complete the restoration.

The helipad is structurally mounted to the vehicle with steel brackets underneath and can hold up to five thousand pounds. We have a putting green here, so you can come in and land your helicopter, putt some balls and then go for a swim,” said Michael Manning, who worked on The American Dream’s restoration.
