1000HP Ferrari 308 GTBi Honda K24 Engine Swap Track
StanceWorks acquired a Ferrari 308 GTBi and wanted to make it a high-powered, lightweight track monster. So, he swapped in a turbocharged 2.4L Honda K24 engine that makes an eye watering 1,000hp, which is far more power than the original 237hp 2.9L V8.

The result is a 2,600-pound Ferrari Time Attack vehicle that still produces 640hp on low boost, making it a formidable foe for any modern supercar. How did it perform at Buttonwillow Raceway Park? Well, the massive flared fenders, rear wing, and side skirts helped put some of that power to the ground, enabling it to achieve lap times in the 1:58 range. Unfortunately, and HD clamp came loose and caused it to lose power. There was no replacement part available at the track, so the StanceWorks crew had to settle for those lap times until their next track day.

It’s been 2.5 years in the making, but today, we finally take the car for its first real drive. It ain’t far, but it does the trick: we know we’re ready to head to the track and see what breaks first!,” said StanceWorks.
