There were only 300 Lamborghini LM002 off-road vehicles produced between 1986-1993 and this pristine 1991 example with just 5,549 miles on the odometer sold for $368,000 USD at RM Sotheyb’s December 10th Miami Beach auction. Chassis number 279, this unit rolled off the assembly line in June 1991 and is believed to have been purchased new by a Japan-based auto enthusiast before being acquired by a Kuwait collector in 2014.
Power comes from a 5.2L V8 engine generating 444 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual ZF transmission. After being acquired from its original owner, this LM002 has been regularly serviced by a local shop. In 2014, the exhaust system was modified and the exterior given a Rosso paint job, retaining the eight-spoke OZ Route wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion tires. These don’t pop up for sale often, but the next one should fetch between $300,000 – $400,000+ depending on the condition.
