1X’s EVE humanoid robot isn’t just for how, as it’s capable of autonomously unpacking groceries and could be a big help for the elderly and / or those with mobility issues.
Standing just over 6-feet-tall and weighing 190 lb, EVE can run for around 6-hours on a full charge and carry up to 33-pounds at a maximum speed of 8.9 mph. Moving equipment, opening doors, or putting away groceries are all part of EVE’s training as it observes how to move through space naturally.

EVE’s embodied learning model connects artificial intelligence to dynamic android physicality, so they recreate movements and get to work. EVE builds on their basic knowledge. That means a task like ‘move that box’ makes future tasks like ‘move that pallet’ even easier over time, said the company.
