The 2023 Ferrari Purosangue SUV is set to enter production later this year, and a photo of one of the prototypes has apparently leaked out from Maranello, Italy. From what we can see, it doesn’t sit high like a typical SUV, but rather lower, similar to a lifted hatchback, with the front end styling taking design cues from the Ferrari Roma. The wheel arches are painted in a different color than the main body, possibly hinting at its off-road prowess. Read more for a video explaining more and additional information.
There is no official confirmation on what kind of powertrain we can expect, although rumors have pointed at the same twin-turbocharged 3.9L V8 engine making 612HP used in the Roma and F8 Tributo, mated to a 8-speed Magna 8DCL900 dual-clutch transmission that sends power to an all-wheel-drive system. Back the vehicle sits so low, Ferrari will most likely equip the Purosangue with a ride height-adjustable air suspension.
