3D Cat Billboard LED Display Shinjuku Japan
The Tokyo Olympics are finally starting in less than 2-weeks, and for those who happen to be strolling through the Shinjuku district, a massive 3D cat may greet you. Measuring 1,664-square-feet, this curved 4K LED billboard from Cross Space sits atop a building and shows a cat walking around, napping and meowing from 7am until 1am. It’s designed to showcase Cross Shinjuku Vision and advertising agency that wants to catch the eye of the 190,000 pedestrians passing by each day.

When the show begins at 7am, the calico cat awakes from its slumber and by the afternoon, it meows at pedestrians. When night falls, it lies down and falls asleep with its head rested on its paws. The display officially launches on July 12th, but as you can see, many test shows have been taking place in recent weeks.

From the beginning of the design of cross Shinjuku vision, we have been conscious of the installation position and shape suitable for viewing from the east exit square of Shinjuku Station, and it is possible to promote and market using high-impact 3D images,” said the company in a press release.
