What started as the Polestar O2 roadster concept is becoming the Polestar 6 when it launches in 2026. This hard-top convertible boasts the company’s bespoke bonded aluminum platform, powered by an 800-Volt electric architecture generating 884 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque from a dual motor powertrain, enabling it to hit 62 mph in just 3.2-seconds, while topping out at 155 mph.
To commemorate the launch, a total of 500 serially numbered units, called the ‘Polestar 6 LA Concept Edition’, will be produced and finished in a dazzling ‘Sky Blue’ paint, complete with a light leather interior. There’s no word yet on pricing, but you can see this vehicle in person during Monterey Car Week this weekend between August 18-21, 2022.
