Slated for release on October 12, the Google Pixel 8 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch Super Actua display, along with a matte glass back and a polished aluminum frame. The problem with most flagship smartphones is that a simple drop could mean a shattered screen or back glass, but can the Pixel 8 Pro survive a drop test?
PBKReviews wanted to find out, so he performed a durability test by dropping the smartphone from four different heights. It started with a small drop from waist height with the screen facing down onto concrete, which ended up causing a few scratches, but everything functioned as normal. Things really didn’t get dicey until the Pixel 8 Pro was dropped from its side and even that only caused cosmetic damage. Let’s just say that the smartphone will definitely survive daily wear and tear without a case.
