If you’ve always wanted to play N64 games in 4K without emulation, then look no further than the Analogue 3D game console. It’s set to be released in 2024, offering a re-imagining of the Nintendo 64 hardware with all of the original display modes including reference quality recreations of specific CRT and PVM screens.



Analogue 3D is claimed to be the first and only aftermarket solution supporting 100% compatibility in every region: USA, EU & JP. Plus, it supports Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI out, and up to 4 original N64 controllers, all running on Analogue’s own proprietary operating system. Pricing has not yet been revealed.

Analogue 3D does not support openFPGA. Analogue 3D does not play copyrighted rom files, it plays legacy game cartridges via the cartridge slot. Analogue 3D is not designed using software emulation. It is designed using a specialty hardware chip called an FPGA, which operates on a transistor level implementation of its functionality,” said the company.
