Alibaba’s new AI-powered AnimateAnyone tool can animate static images with one-click motion tracking. This achieved through two inputs, with the first one being the input image, which defines the immediate visual component of the output.
The second input is motion data, affecting how the objects, flora, and fauna of the reference image will move in the aforementioned scene. In non-technical terms, AnimateAnyone takes the reference image, moves certain parts to follow the desired pose, and then uses AI to fill in the gaps needed give the illusion of consistent movement for each frame of the generated video.
