A Samsung Galaxy smartphone with a mini-slidable display might have possibly leaked in a recent patent that was published last Thursday by the U.S. and World IP Organization in Europe.
From the patent sketches and description, it appears as if the mini-slidable display would eliminate the cracking / peeling issue of Samsung’s current foldable displays (Z Fold + Z Flip) when the panel is compressed into a curved shape. This display would consist of two panels, with the first being at one side of the second panel.

Samsung’s patent is deadly focused on the display structure and never describes the scrollable-display device in terms of marketing or end use. Knowing their extensive work on rollable/scrollable smartphone devices, it’s clear that this patent is simply describing the mechanics of a mini-slidable display based smartphone,” according to Patently Apple.
