Tesla debuted its Semi last year, aiming to replace diesel-powered trucks that transport freight around the world today, but what if you took one and transformed it into a camper van of sorts? Meet the Tesla Semihome. Created by Vanlifer, it looks like a Semi up front, complete with its sloped roof over the cab, but step inside, and you’ll find two beds, a bathroom, foldable seating, kitchenette, as well as room for up to six adults.
Tesla said the Semi will cost between $150,000 and $180,000 depending on the battery pack size, so it’s only fitting to think that a camper home conversion would be at least $200,000+, or possibly double the MSRP should you opt for all the luxuries a 5-star hotel suite offers. Unfortunately, it’s just a concept…for now.
