After being teased earlier this week, the Acura Precision EV Concept was unveiled at Monterey Car Week, showcasing the performance brand’s future design language as it prepares to enter the electrified era starting in 2024 with an all-electric SUV. Aesthetically, it sports a wide, athletic stance with sharp character lines finished in an eye-catching matte Double Apex Blue.
Step inside, and you’ll find a Tesla yoke-like steering wheel as well as a cockpit inspired by F1 race cars with a low-slung driving position. What really sets it apart are the two driving modsL Instinctive and Spiritual Lounge. Instinctive aims to maximize the joy of performance with racing-style digital instrumentation illuminated by red ambient lighting. Spiritual Lounge turns the Precision EV Concept into an autonomous living room, as the steering wheel retracts, while an underwater animation is projected all around the cabin.
