Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has just acquired David Geffen’s Beverly Hills estate for $165-million. This 9-acre property this week belonged to the Warner Bros. founder and president, Jack L. Warner, in the 1930s, and is currently the most expensive home in Los Angeles. The previous most expensive property sale was last year’s $150 million purchase of the Bel-Air Chartwell estate, as seen on “The Beverly Hillbillies.” Read more for an in-depth tour of the Chartwell Estate.

What does $165-million get Jeff Bezos? How about a 13,600-square-foot mansion, complete with massive terraces, gardens, multiple guest houses, a nursery, greenhouses, tennis court, wimming pool, 9-hole golf course and even its own car museum, including gas pumps. David Geffen owned the property since 1990, and he acquired it for $47.5 million at the time.
