Finally, after numerous delays, the Analogue Pocket has started shipping. The company touts the handheld game console as a “tribute to portable gaming,” and rightfully so. Featuring a Game Boy-inspired design with additional buttons for the supported platforms, it boasts a 3.5″ (1600×1440) LTPS LCD display, an SD card expansion slot, a link cable port compatible with Game Boy link cables, an HDMI port (screen mirroring), two USB ports for wired controllers and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless controllers. It’s powered by an Altera Cyclone V processor, and accepts original Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance cartridges straight from the factory. Using optional cartridge adapaters, it also can play Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Atari Lynx game cartridges.
