Disney first revealed at the D23 Expo this past summer that Imagineers were working on a new experience with Spider-Man at Avengers Campus coming to Disney California Adventure park this summer, but now we know that it is going to be in animatronic form. The robot of sorts is going to have articulating robotic joints capable of web slinging when launched with a bungie mechanism.
You’ll be able to see Spider-Man at The Worldwide Engineering Brigade – also known as “WEB” – where guests can web sling alongside the superhero himself. Afterwards, head on over to the Pym Test Kitchen, an all-new eatery, where Pym Technologies Researchers are using Ant-Man and the Wasp’s growing and shrinking technology to create extra large as well as super small food dishes.
- Marvel LEGO Set - 3,772-piece, 32 in./82 cm high, 4-floor Daily Bugle office recreation with 25 minifigures for adult collectors.
- Removable Facades - Easy access to detailed rooms with various accessories, and large front posters on the building.
- Penthouse Office - Bugle's Editor in Chief office, Spider-Man's buggy, and action-packed scenes with Marvel characters.
Heroic encounters throughout the campus where guests can team up with some of their favorite Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and the Dora Milaje, Thor and Loki, Iron Man and for the first time, Ant-Man and The Wasp,” according to Disney.
