Apple Credit Card
The Apple Card was unveiled at today’s press event, and unlike other credit cards, this one is built directly into the Apple Wallet app on iPhone to offer customers a familiar experience with Apple Pay and the ability to manage their card right on their device. It also features Daily Cash, which gives back a percentage of every purchase as cash on customers’ Apple Cash card each day. When it launches this summer, you’ll be able to sign up for Apple Card in the Wallet app in minutes and start using it with Apple Pay right away in stores, in apps or online worldwide. To keep things extra secure, a unique card number is created on iPhone for Apple Card and stored safely in the device’s Secure Element, a special security chip used by Apple Pay. All purchases are secure because it is authorized with Face ID or Touch ID and a one-time unique dynamic security code. There’s also a physical titanium Apple Card for shopping at locations where Apple Pay is not accepted yet. It has no card number, CVV security code, expiration date or signature on the card, which makes it more secure than any other cards.
