Unlike the AcryPhone, Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max, set for release this fall, is rumored to have a persicope camera lens. This folding zoom system’s actuators will be manufactured by both LG Innotek and Jahwa Electronics, consisting of a mirror or prism that functions as a periscope, resulting in a camera lens capable of zooming further with very little blurriness.
In addition to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, this same periscope camera lens will also make its way to the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max next year. Other rumored features for the iPhone 15 Pro Max are a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the new A17 processor, 8GB of RAM, 1TB of internal storage, 5000mAh battery, and most important of all, a USB-C port.
