Tech reporter Mark Gurman reported that Apple could release an iPhone Ultra as early as 2024, and if the design is based on the current Apple Watch Ultra, it might look something like this design by designer Jonas Daehnert. This means the chassis would be made of aerospace-grade titanium with a case that rises up to surround all edges of the flat sapphire front crystal.

As for the other specifications, it’s rumored to get a 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED screen, a rear camera array with a periscope lens, the successor to the yet to be released A17 Bionic chip, WiFi 6E connectivity, precision dual-frequency GPS, and most likely a USB-C port. Nothing has been confirmed yet, so don’t be surprised if the iPhone Ultra launches later this year, priced from $1499 USD.
